The year is 2020…and there are no flying cars. When I was a kid, I would have hoped that there would have been flying cars by now, but as an adult, I am glad they aren’t here yet. I am not sure we would adapt well to that…
With the start of a new year comes resolutions…and I am not so good at these. I have tried some in the past, but only a few have taken hold and not for that long. I am optimistic, however, about this one. I have been meaning to blog on a regular basis since I took on my role as Hybrid Learning Coach, yet like many, I wasn’t sure if I had anything to say (still don’t know), wasn’t sure anyone would read (realized that doesn’t matter), and never committed the time. This year seems like a year to dive in, so here I go.
I get a lot of email. Not an obscene amount, but a good bit. Much of it has come from vendors and salespeople that I interact with at conferences. It is a small price to pay for a chance at some good swag, but it comes with a lot of deleting. I do keep my eyes open for good emails from lists and today I got my email from AJ Juliani in regards to his 30 Days of Blogging Challenge. It looks like he started this idea a few years ago and reuses it and I am grateful for that. It prompted me to start writing here and I am excited. I have no idea what I will say, but I here is my goal: write 250 words/day and post 2x a week. Topics to include, but limited to: Genius Hour, Tech Integration, Music, 3D Printing, Video Games, Entertainment and more!
