As we head toward Thanksgiving, I wanted to share some images of my classroom, which I am thankful for. I spent the first 12 years of my career in a huge room (Choral Room…held over 125 kids) with a ton of storage. My new room, as you can see, is smaller than that. In an ideal world, I would love some built-in storage and a window/skylight, but I love the flexibility I have created in this room. This year, I have gotten rid of most of my desks and standard chairs and replaced them with a series of donated chairs. The room does a good job of showing my love of music, comic books, and coffee.
